 Using a stand up desk can help you live longer, lose weight, and feel more energetic and focused. It’s true. I’ve been using one for more than a year now, and it’s completely changed my life. I feel healthier, more alert, and I've even lost some weight. That may sound like an exaggeration, but it’s not – I use my stand up desk every day at work. That’s 8 hours a day, five days a week, 4 weeks a month, etc ... If you do something that consistently for that long a time, it’s bound to have a huge effect on your life.

But don’t just take it from me, let’s consult science! Did you know that you can increase your life expectancy simply by sitting less and standing up more often? It’s a fact. Now I know what some of you may be thinking: Standing all day does not sound like fun. I totally agree! Even though we love stand up desks, I don’t recommend standing all day. I recommend standing for at least 15 minutes every hour during a standard work day. If you can stand longer, then go for it!
